In addition to her education, Julia is active as a feminist. At the last demonstration, which ended in a blockade of a fundamentalist anti-abortion demonstration in which fundamentalists were also injured, Julia was arrested. Lila Hilfe has organised a lawyer for her, who is now defending her against charges of breach of the peace and grievous bodily harm. The costs of the proceedings are being covered by Lila Hilfe, which is organising a fundraising campaign for her together with Julia's fellow activists.
